Special Event: The Chamber Music Legacy

As part of its 20th Anniversary Season, Chamber Music Charleston (CMC) presents a special concert celebrating the organization’s dedication to education and mentorship. The performance will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the historic Dock Street Theatre (135 Church Street).

The program showcases the exceptional artistry of both emerging and established musicians, featuring high school string students who are part of the CMC TWO mentoring program alongside accomplished conservatory students performing with acclaimed violinist Francisco Fullana. These young artists will perform Franz Schubert’s Quartettsatz and “Death and the Maiden” String Quartet, culminating in the finale of Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings.
